Campus Kids

A mentor right away. No waiting required.

How It Works

STEM, a meal, and a mentor on a college campus

Campus Kids is a staff-supervised, site-based mentoring program for Littles who are either currently matched in Community-Based Mentoring or ready to be matched with a community-based mentor. It gives kids the chance to build a consistent, one-to-one mentoring relationship right away.

The program meets every other week on the South Dakota Mines campus, where each Little is matched one-to-one with a college student Campus Kids Leader. These young adult mentors provide steady, positive attention while kids explore STEM activities and share a meal on a college campus.
