Programs

Our mission is to provide all children facing adversity with professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills makes  relationships between volunteer “Bigs” and children “Littles”, ages 5-15. We then provide  training, resources and support necessary for those matches to succeed.

SITE BASED

COMMUNITY BASED

Our site based programs are very similar to our community based programs but take place on site and are facilitated by our team. We have three distinct Site-Based Programs.

This is our traditional match, where adult mentors are paired with children ages 5-15 with the commitment to see each other 2-4 times per month for a couple of hours. Each match is selected by our team based on shared interests and personality. Big and Littles plan their own outings filled with activities they enjoy, like sports, going to the movies, hiking, or music.
